West 14th, Vancouver

This Kitsilano yard underwent a complete transformation and our clients now have a backyard oasis thanks to the addition of number of different elements. We installed a paving stone patio and pathway, as well as added a new block stairwell leading down to the lower level of their home. We put in fresh planting, a new lawn, a stepping stone pathway and a new fence to complete the look.

Burhill Road, West Vancouver

This large West Vancouver property required extensive landscaping. After substantial excavating and bobcat work, we landscaped all areas of the property. The hardscape we installed includes a large paving stone driveway and patio, natural stone retaining walls and stairs, and a stepping stone pathway. The softscape we installed includes new lawn, cedar hedge, and planting around the property.

Rockridge Rd, Vancouver

This Rockridge home required a driveway and front yard over-haul. Our team removed the over-grown trees, shrubs and old asphalt driveway to set up a clean slate. We in installed a new Pisa 2 retaining wall, then a large driveway and patio using Old Country paving stone. The project was finished with new turf grass, trees, and planting in the bank and surrounding areas.

Highbury St, Vancouver

This new home in the Dunbar area required fresh landscaping over the entire property. The large yard, both front and back, called for extensive paving stones, retaining walls, and planter beds. We used a large assortment of building materials and completed the project with a collection of seasonal plants and shrubs.

Clinton St, Burnaby

This property, in an established neighbourhood in Burnaby, called for a complete front and back yard redesign. We started with a clean slate by excavating and removing all the old plants, shrubs, and grass. Carefully selected plants, as well as turf grass, were added to the new landscape. Old Country pavers used for the patio and walkway give the look of hand-hewn stone, and add a touch of European charm.

Thompson Pl, West Vancouver

The client of this West Vancouver residence took advantage of the full range of Absolute Landscaping services to create a back yard worthy of a design magazine. The new landscaping makes the most of the breathtaking views, with a sweeping stone path and driveway, low-growing plants that frame the yard, and a manicured lawn. A new lighting system adds beautiful ambiance in the evening.

Georgia St, Vancouver

Located on a residential stretch of Georgia Street in Vancouver, this home needed a complete backyard renovation. We created an urban retreat that includes beautiful bamboo plantings, and a pond and rock fountain that adds the soothing, natural sound of running water. Planter boxes create flexible year-round planting options, and a new pathway provides structure and flow.

Elliot St, Burnaby

This Burnaby home had a long, sloping backyard. We excavated and tiered the yard, then built an impressive retaining wall. The Pisa block walls are connected by a wide, elegant pathway, and two sets of stairs built of Old Country paving stones add a feeling of grandeur. New plants, fresh sod, built-in irrigation and lighting completed this project.

Frames Pl, North Vancouver

For his North Vancouver home, our client wanted an attractive but low-maintenance front yard. We achieved both by building a dry river rock bed and a simple two-tier Allan block wall. New, easy-to-care-for grasses and plants spaced evenly apart in a pattern create a symmetrical, clean look. A small grass lawn provides just enough space to enjoy the sun.
